Hillary Sterling is a Plesio Health Cannabis Nurse. She has been a registered nurse for over eleven years and has spent the majority of her nursing career treating critical oncology, hospice, and palliative care patients, as well as the aging population, patients with autoimmune disorders, and chronic pain. Her specialty is helping patients and families with symptom management for pain, nausea, anxiety and depression, sleep, appetite, fatigue, and dementia-related issues, to name a few. When her mother and brother were diagnosed with cancer, she changed careers from education to becoming an oncology nurse, and eventually a hospice and palliative care nurse. She saw how cannabis could be used safely and effectively to help with chemotherapy and cancer symptoms, and she became dedicated to helping patients learn about how to include cannabis in their daily lives. Hillary is a nationally board-certified hospice and palliative nurse (CHPN), has her chemotherapy/immunotherapy certification (ONS/ONCC), received her medicinal cannabis certification from the Pacific College of Health and Sciences in 2022, and her Comprehensive Medical Cannabis Certification from the Association of Cannabinoid Specialists (ACS) in 2024. She is a member of the American Cannabis Nurses Association (ACNA), the Cannabis Nurses Network (CNN), the American Holistic Nurses Association (AHNA), the Association of Cannabinoid Specialists (ACS), the Holistic Caring Network (HCN), the Oncology Nurses Society (ONS), and the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association (HPNA). In addition to being licensed in her home state of Arizona and the other compact states, Hillary is licensed in California, Nevada, and Oregon.
