Karen oversees all finance functions for Plesio Health. She is the founder and CEO of Clarady LLC, a small business consulting firm. She is an entrepreneur with 20+ years of experience building and growing small businesses with up to $10 million in annual revenue. She is also a co-founder of reframe52, a women and minority-owned SaaS company that provides Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) education and resources to companies and organizations seeking solutions that have lasting impact in the DEI landscape. Previously, she was a founding member of a boutique retained executive search firm headquartered in Chicago, where she served as CAO and CFO. Karen earned her bachelor’s degree from DePaul University. As a child of immigrants, she was the first in her family to graduate college while simultaneously working a full-time job. Karen lives in the north suburbs of Chicago with her husband, two daughters, and two cats. As a fan of puzzles and mysteries, she enjoys spending her time in Escape Rooms.
